FUBAR food

I made these photos as part of a school assignment called visual identity. I chose the name "FUBAR food" because I wanted to show the irreversibility of preparing food. FUBAR is an abbreviation that stands for "Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition", so once the food has been prepared, it can't be reverted to it's original state. My final image was graded with a 7.5 (that's a B in America). For the process, I got an 8 (B+).

This photo is from the first iteration after the diverting process. It's a juiced orange, with the juice poured back into the peel.

This is the final image from the second iteration. It features an orange whose parts have been torn apart and that was reconstructed afterwards.

The following images are from what would originally be the last iteration. I focussed on "mutilating" the food.

This apple was fried and then got its peel back on, sort of.

This scrambled egg tried to get back in its egg-shell. Unfortunately, the lid doesn't fit anymore…

I wasn't entirely happy with the photos above. They didn't convey my message well enough. I went back to "the drawing board" and made one last photo.

The final image. Frying an egg can't be reversed and that is symbolized by the funnel.
